We Attend Crossings Community Church in Oklahoma City

I (Robert Smith) grew up in Alabama, where I went to a church with vibrant worship and convincing preaching. Since I lived with my parents near the church, I was expected to attend whenever the doors were open. I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior at the age of twelve, and I am so glad I did.

Linda grew up in Oklahoma. She went to a church that was a lot like mine. We met at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. After we graduated, we were married. We have one son. We have lived in Missouri, Texas, and Oklahoma - where we now live.

I began looking for a church in 1994. I found a church with great music and a program for youth. Our son was able to join a large group of teens who worshiped God with all of their hearts. He was able to be a part of other meaningful activities. Linda and I began attending Lakeside Assembly of God - which was renamed Highpointe Church and now is Compass Church in Oklahoma City, and it helped us to grow more in the likeness of Jesus Christ. We have recently been attending Crossings Community Church in Oklahoma City.
